National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws is regarded to be one of the most popular groups out there battling for marijuana legalization. They have just issued their 2020 Gubernatorial Scorecard grading the governors on their amount of support towards legalization.
Based on the governors’ voting records and comments on marijuana policy, NORML bestowed “A” grades on nine governors — all Democrats — while 11 more Democrats and one Republican earned a “B.”
This means the officials in almost half the states in the country are working towards the movement. Let’s take a look at the governors who earned an “F”.
Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts wrote a paper where he states that the use of this drug could lead to suicide and many other things. Others who have got an F include Idaho Gov. Brad Little, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine, Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb, Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster, and Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon.
