As of now, there is not a lot of reliable cultivation data regarding hemp. Due to this, Nebraska growers might have to use their experience to gain some practical understanding with regards to seeds and herbicides. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the availability of good quantities of seeds was a huge challenge in many pilot programs.
Additionally, the growers and farmers also needed to pursue specializations and increase their network at every given opportunity. The University of Nebraska-Lincoln has provided extremely reliable support with technical expertise and research. The state government also needs to be cautious and not set high licensing and testing fees, which could put farmers off growing hemp.
